MinnDakota Notary Services ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This statement explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Notarial records. Separately from this website, a notary is required by Minnesota law to keep a journal of certain notarial acts. Those records are maintained and safeguarded in accordance with state notary requirements and are kept confidential except as required by law.
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and to remember your accessibility preferences (such as dark mode or text size), which are stored on your device. We do not use non-essential tracking cookies by default.
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule and provide notary or fingerprinting services, and operate and secure this website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email you didn’t ask for.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with the service providers that help us run the site and email (such as our web host and email provider), only as needed, or where disclosure is required by law.
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of the inquiry, and then delete them. Notarial journal records are retained for the period required by Minnesota law.
You may ask what personal information we hold from your website inquiry, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the details below. Notarial journal records required by law cannot be deleted on request.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including limiting access to it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address any issues.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this statement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
